stellar_muddleGorgeous cover of the Leonard Cohen song "Halelujah" on ABC Classic FM. Second good cover I heard, after first hearing the song covered by KD Lang a while back. And the original isn't bad either... Must get hold of copies of all of those.
Wish the ABC website listing would update to say what the current lineup is sooner rather than later though...
And at the end it was Katie Noonan apparently, acompainied by an australian symphony orchestra...
But that was gorgeous...
Other music to track down:
"Walking on the Air" by (I forget who...). I have the version done by Nightwish, but it is a little too close to overblown for me. I heard a piano version a while back and WANT IT... but am waiting for the ABC Classic FM to 100 piano classics to get down in price...
May add to this later...
