Right, time for pictures of the embroidered pouch progress. It could wait til I had the drawstring and tassels done, but I am still thinking about that.

Funny thelancrewitch should ask. I was just going to say I admire the photos, well actually, the pouch and the tabletwoven edges especially. From what I know of the technique and it's something I've always wanted to try, you cirle the weft through each shed. So rather than going back and forward between each turn of the tablets, you insert the needle through the item and then keep coming back around to the same side where you then insert the weft needle through the open shed.

Does this sound right? What did you use for tension on the bottom end of the threads? It looks simply gorgeous!!
