Medieval Pavilion Resources: FURNITURE/CAMPING ACCESSORIES

For reasons only known to the Powers That Be in charge of the "Forests" surrounding work, they are spraying the hillsides here to kill off the weeds, theoretically leaving the trees to grow. This would work fine appart from the fact that everything is dead already (can we say crisp brown landscape). My guess is they have a mountain death wish and are just conspiring to make the entire lot wash away in the next real rains. This should be about 2020 the rate things are going. The only thing holding the "soil" in place at present is the weeds... I miss real green...

But we did at least get some rain today - there were unmistakeable drops of water on the windscreen in to work for all of 5 min. It may have almost verged on the drizzle catagory. I would stand outside and sniff the damp for a while, but there is this weed spraying...

Cool to look down on the helicopter though...

There are just some times when the best way to describe your mood is bitchy. Everything just seems to come in the wrong way and certain bits of the brain seem to jump into rabid affront mode. It is not a good state to view the world. I suspect it is hormonally enhanced, if not directly corellated. Also highly connected to blood sugar/hunger levels. Really need to watch that. Z suggested I could be put in a nice fluffy warm padded cell for a little while. I like that idea but only if I can have a box of little pink fluffy stuffed bunnys to pull the heads off...

So, you'd appreciate my mention of the deep, billowing fog of last night.

Fog isn't bad:)
Depending on the valley you are in, Canberra can do some substantial morning fogs, though one wonders where the moisture for them comes from. Watching hot air balloons playing in and around it is also fun. Cold buggers when combined with a -2 degree frost though.
Just want real water falling out of the sky for more that 5 min at a time...
Ah well
:)
