They are here!!!!!!:)
Mar. 8th, 2005 12:21 pmMy books, my precious books have arrived... Big blue sack with beaten up box that Customs obviously had fun with (its more oval, than rectangular). Happy books though.
Woven Into the Earth has some amazing pictures of extant garments, and details... drool... bucket required.
Dress in Anglo-Saxon England is defintely extended from Zane's ratty photocopy - more textile reminants, pictures and discussion. Slightly less drool but flamate will mug me for it when I get home as she is documenting Anglo-Saxon hand-woven leg bindings and a hand woven tunic for Easter. Small basin worth.
The Observation and Analysis of Stellar Photospheres - Ok, there the enthusiasm are a little less (yes, well) but will be useful.
Cowboy Feng's Space Bar and Grill, and To Reign in Hell. Mmmmmm, Steven Brust (and ones that Zane hasn't read yet:) At least a cup.
Must not touch until later must not touch until later must not touch until later must not touch until later
Given the tent progress required, later may be defined as after Easter...
But at least they are here.
PS Made it safely back to Canberra after great weekend:)
