Hey, alpha_angel, a series of interviews/reviews of Charles de Lint.
Haven't kept up with his most recent stuff but the middle ones such as The Little Country and Memory and Dream and Dreams Underfoot are very good.

Edit2: And after recommending The Prestige as a movie, I really need to track down the novel it is based on: The Prestige by Christopher Priest. Won the World Fantasy Award in 1996. Reviews here, here, and here.

Charles de Lint is next on my list of books to read through everything I own, and buy all the ones I don't. Arty Bee's has an unfortunately great selection, so it could get pricey.

He was on my list of "authors I will pay new (paperback) prices for", but that was about 5 years ago. The latest Newford ones just haven't quite packed the same punch.

Problem is that his new paperbacks are imports so some of them are almost as much as hardbacks.

We're also fans of Charles de Lint. Agent Weasel's real name is from one of his books. We liked the name and liked the character, so we decided to use it. Later found out that it's a real name, with variations in use all over the Anglo-Celtic world.
