Oh look, another time period...
May. 9th, 2009 11:45 pmAnyone know any good resources? And or good keywords for googling/phrases to avoid...
Cause Z is collecting ordinance of this time period, so we want the right accessories...
ie clothing.
Specifically Company of St George style stuff.
I know that Reconstructing History has women's clothing patterns. And there are the COSG Dragon editions, but they are redrawings (grumble grumble lack of references in articles grumble grumble) and than tends not to have patterns. Haven't started googling/poking pictorial references/reading in depth yet.
There will probably be poking of The Tudor Tailor for their bias cut fitted hose instructions.
Specifically there have been mutterings on livery issue jackets and watchcoats cause the gunnery crew will definitely be needing those.
( References/links added as I go )
PS And wrt the previous post, found bits of loom - they had been put in the clothing chest for safe transport. How awfully sensible of me - if I could have just remembered that fact. The winding up with bits of fabric in between warp threads helped amazingly and there was not the hour or more of untangling before use that occurred before the tourney at Crown.
