When doing a black and white design in silk (tent stitch) is it tidier/cleaner to do the black then the white, or the white then the black, or doesn't it matter?* **

*WCOB Pelican cloak badge for those who care.

** After much walking in search***, I have half the silk I need. Shop (Nancy's, 20 min walk away at brisk pace) was out of of black (mutter mutter mutter, on order now, may be at least a week) but had the white.

*** At least a nice warm sunny autumn day for walking but I wouldn't guarantee that next time...

Thou shalt not answer email or post on the internet until after you have had the first milo/coffee/tea/wake up beverage and breakfast.

In fact I try not to sit down at the computer until these items are in hand and being dealt with in the appropriate manner.

This is because I know I am a cranky grumpy intolerant bitchy bunny until I have had breakfast (especially in weekends). The mental bitching over various things going on in the shower and until I have started on food is not nice and occasionally somewhat petty, so I try not to let it escape/think on it again after the food has sunk in and work out if it is still valid/worth pointing out.

I do need to watch that in the lead up before dinner when hungry though...

Time for a little bomb site clearance. and I will try not to pile Z's stuff on his side of the bed... It only took ~30 min to go through all the Lochac list discussions on email this morning...

Edit: And that should also go for making any sorts of comments if your usual caffeine hit is running later than usual. I may compose snarky bitchy LJ posts while doing the dishes, but I am not letting myself post them... The joys of different habits in the weekend vs weekdays.
