Canberra Multicultural Festival street show and wonderful food stall fair Sat 11 Feb, 11am - midnight. Happened on it fortuitously last time and want to go again.

Canberra Philharmonic Society is doing a production of Les Miserables from 24 Feb onwards. May be worth checking out ticket prices.


Basic Greek Souvlaki recipe from Canberra Times Feb 1 2006 (summarized)

Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
900 g beef or lamb
splash olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp oregano
pinch pepper, salt
Method
Cube meat and marinate with rest of ingredients overnight. Kebabify and grill medium heat. Baste with marinade mix. Serve with salad, tsaziki (cucumber, yoghurt and garlic) and flat bread (and some chili sauce and thin tomato/vinegar? sauce if trying to replicate what get from Greek Recipe in Chch)

Will have to try this.



* As opposed to work on papers and stuff which might actually remedy the situation...
