Jul. 20th, 2005 09:45 amNeil Gaiman was very good and if you get a chance to hear him speak in person, go for it. I was suprised to see that the lecture theatre wasn't packed out, but perhaps from his point of view, this was not a bad thing. It was good to see the Mirrormask trailer on a large screen and the electronic press release. Should be even better on large screen, though from comments made, it may turn up in Australia in 2006... or it may not. Nice to see questions from the audience which were not point scoring off the speaker, and got interesting responses. In all definitely worth going.
The only low point to the evening was spilling Laksa inside my pack. I hope the smell comes out of everything... it (and a lot if the contents) is all still soaking at the momment. Mental note not to do that again.
Only down to -2.5 degrees this morning. Need to remember to do the hot water bottle thing more often.
