Success in upping vege content of dinner with the introduction of spinach (the single serve frozen cubes)- works very nicely so far for curry and spag bog style pasta sauce.
Extending sleeves on Z's maroon diamond twill tunic - the one which was handsewn with the bone needle and the thread from the fabric. Continuing this in the extensions.
Having the fireplace (woodburner) going in the evenings has meant that hot drinks are now done with the kettle on the woodburner, rather than the electric jug. Works well for hot water bottle water and for doing hot chocolate as well.
Time for sewing and the nice colourful doco on the Caribbean.
