Right, 2nd load of laundry sounds done (edit 3rd load on, 2nd load on top line), 1st load is out (that involved finding light rope, which was surprisingly difficult round here, and stringing it up to replace the line broken by the pig.), compost is emptied, shower is cleaned and little corners are a little tidier.

And there are 4 little wooden slats cut off, so as to have a go at wax tablets. Yes, I managed to hand saw a straight line and not cut myself. Next the rasp (rough sawn edges on the base) and then the chisel...

Then there will be a wander down to the Library (and shops) after the box delivery.(Edit: now delivered at 1pm).

Not too bad for before 1pm on a Sat, but then Sat mornings have never been a strong point.

Cool Sat. morning! You could try boiling the head for "Souse", or "Head Cheese"--should leave a relatively clean skull, & edible pigginess.
