Our washing machine has died - well, it still goes, it just gushes water everywhere including over the electrics :(

Any one know a good place for cheap 2nd hand or new washing machines in the Wellington region? Looks to have possibly been a shonky recondition on the current one and it is outside the warranty period (but was cheaparse (with the emphasis on arse rather than cheap) 2nd hand in the first place).

And possibly chest freezers...

Ever so slightly busy over next 2 weeks.

Then it will be rather quiet...

Course it didn't help that I squished my finger between the fridge and freezer doors.

We have an Indesit washer/dryer front loader combo unit that you can have for free. It works great most of the time but will sometimes freeze up if the computer board inside gets damp. I only had a problem if I washed more than two loads back to back. Anyway, it's yours if you want it. Just let me know soonish as otherwise it's off to Trash Palace or somewhere.

We might be interested. Reckon it would go ok if you didn't use the dryer bit (at a guess most likely cause of humidity other than leakage...)?
