Currently on a bit of a knotwork binge at present. Not embroidery (see icon), but interlace on painted banners for the upcoming Darton Anniversary. Last night part of A&S was spent pencilling in a basic interlace column and this evening was about two hours of inking then painting of interlace round the edge of the picture stone (see [livejournal.com profile] basal_surge's post re buggering dwarves for a link to a picture of the original stone). It should look good from about 2m and further, but I wouldn't set myself up as a fine painter. Suspect [livejournal.com profile] dragonermine is a bit ahead of us with her portion of the banners. Just as well.

So, when working on projects, do you tend to solidly pace yourself and plug away at it steadily, or do it in bursts, possibly at the last minute? Different paces of project work by different people on the same project can get entertaining...

I should remember not to get onto dinner so late. Leads to very grumpy whingy me. Not good.

I tend to do projects in bursts, I start early then set it down and do the last 75-90% at the last minute.
