Early Anglo-Saxon Gold Braids By ELISABETH CROWFOOT and SONIA CHADWICK HAWKES (PDF). Dunno when this one was published, but a very nice discussion with diagrams of early anglo-saxon brocaded tablet weaving including a catalogue of the graves found in.

Generally getting distracted with early anglo-saxon wrist clasps. Z is envious that the anglo-saxon males don't get them. They do look very nice with the tablet weaving, even the rough "wearable in time for the event" version (still need to finish the rest of the tablet weaving and the inside seams before I consider it done.

Eldrimer blog is back and active, this time in a 15-16th C living history kitchen. The puffed apples and the pear pie sound very nice...
