On the 6th floor at an afternoon tea talking to people - nice day out. Little bit later, the patch of blue sky was a patch of grey sky, then WHOOMPH! Sheeting rain and wind. You could see the little cross harbour ferry listing as it trudged out. Think I saw some lightning...
Had lightened a bit by the time to head down to the train station, only to get there and discover no trains in my neck of the woods due to lightning and a tree on the overhead lines... and limited buses potentially, right in the middle of peak train occupancy.
And I left my cell phone at home charging this morning... Oops.
Back to office in the rain - which had picked up again and phoned Z. Alternate arrangements made.
Wheeeee.
Staying in warm and dry for a little while before head out for Z to pick me up...
Just as well I grabbed the rain coat.
