(no subject)

Went for a walk at lunch time. Up to the top of the botanical gardens, paused to acquire a Fruju at the shop near the cable car top, and then walked back down via the botanical gardens and cemetery*.
Just over a half hour walk.
Got back and body feels slightly tired, brain felt bouncy which was a big improvement over the usual after lunch brain feeling tired.
Want to do it again :)
Will remember to bring spare work shirt for changing into, or t-shirt for walking in...
And a sunhat and an easily carried water bottle.

And then when I got home, got distracted by The Big Picture, especially their Scenes from Antarctica... Spent some time looking to see if there was an LJ syndicated feed for it. Didn't find it, but did see some other good ones :)

And while I remember (better late than never)

It was about this time (plus or minus a couple days, and besides, Canterbury Anniversary weekend shifted a week) 8 years ago, by the embers of a dying fire that I was propositioned by a certain individual... and didn't run away. The 3 year Civil Union anniversary was earlier this year :)
