It was about this time (plus or minus a couple days, and besides, Canterbury Anniversary weekend shifted a week) 8 years ago, by the embers of a dying fire that I was propositioned by a certain individual... and didn't run away. The 3 year Civil Union anniversary was earlier this year :)
