So, what is the appropriate protocol for wandering up to a complete stranger in LJ space and asking if it would be possible to get a hold of a copy of their lecture notes from a class they gave at Pennsic on Viking Architecture. Found off friend of friends list... Appart from being very polite. Especially given they are doing (or have just done) a doctorate in the subject.
Ok, I can probably answer that one myself: stop wall flowering, bite the bullet and ask. They can only say no... Edit: done, wait and see.
Collegium comments:
Hand sewing class went well, though we arrived (slightly) late and generally started later, so I only covered about half the stuff (ie none of the extant garments and images in detail) and couldn't get people actually sewing/trying stuff. But I don't think anyone fell asleep.
Z's tent class seemed to go well too (and to time with space for questions after). I just interjected and prodded occasionally.
Revel afterwards was low key but fun with various discussions and games.
Sounds like tomorrow will be full of shoemaking and general ramblings.
Hopefully there hasn't been too much plague swapping.
