*insert long ranting rambling cursing swearing here* I am sure you are more creative than me at present so can come up with all sort of insulting remarks involving inappropriate body functions and positions and combinations. The sorts of things that have mothers covering their childrens ears and shrieking as they run away and sailors taking notes for future reference.
No, it isn't the lawnmower... I'll get back to that in a little while. About a quarter of the 2nd patch to go and the edge bits the mower can't get cause the concrete edge is well below the grass edge. And the height setting on the mower is fucked so it is getting a very close shave. Will water the lawn later today to make certain it is ok.
Nope, got a Z very briefly. They were in town for a replacement computer, clean underwear and socks and then are out into the field til Thurs... or Fri or Sat or whenever.
Not currently happy with his work - can handle him being out in the field as long as I know when he will be getting back. But farting around and not organising things such as it is never clear when he needs to go or when he will get back is really fucking annoying. Would be nice to actually be able to plan things and say whether or not we could actually make social event X or get things done around the house so that we can actually get a bunch of projects done rather than playing catch up maintanence/recovery. Thought that first 3 week stint in the bush last year was a little shambolically organised but didn't think it would be that representitive of the general degree of organisation. To a certain extent feels as though life is on hold at the momment or at least grinding along and being wasted. Not good.
And yes, the house inspection is still Weds, so plenty of work in the next few days. You can at least see bits of floor in all rooms, so there is a start..
Was vaguely planning to make it to A&S but realised by the time I actually looked at when it was, that I wouldn't make it in time anyway. Besides, if I had made it on time, would have missed Z.
Need chocolate, something to beat up and a certain manager's head on a spike. Will settle for bludgeoning the lawn.
