May. 8th, 2006 09:49 amI was going to write something, but I can't remember what.
Actually, I was going to write several somethings, some of which I can remember the overall point of but not the specific details. Things may become cleared as I progress.
Can't remember now if that covers it all. Besides, morning tea and porrige time.
*My opinions on preserving the "magic" purity of court over recognition of good work can be saved for another rant.

- French onion soup recipe - for 10 min work slicing and 20-30 min cooking, really easy and tasted really nice... and we have lots of onions. 2 large onions, thinly siced and cooked in 2 T butter for 8 min. Drown in 1 L beef stock, 2 T white wine (ok, a splash), 1t wochester(?sp) sauce (capful) and a sprinkle of pepper. Simmer for ~20-30 min.
- ditto polish sausage in red wine recipe. That recipe is easier. Take 1 kg polish sausage (kranski worked well), put in pot with 2 small or 1 large sliced up onion. drown in 3 cups red wine. Simmer for 20-25 min. Ladle over mashed potatoes. Giggle at the colour of the sausages. Consume.
- Baronial candidates interview/question time session on Sun. ( Where upon I waffle slightly )
- There is a really good spot in front of the fire with really good lighting for sewing and reading and a good view of the TV and the flames and the coffee table just right beside it. The battles/races for the beanbag in that position have begun. Especially good on cold rainy evening with chocolate.
- I have crimson rosellas happily whittering away on the window ledge. Currently 3 red with splodges of green juviniles, with the full red adults having gotten first pick of the seed.
Can't remember now if that covers it all. Besides, morning tea and porrige time.
