Aug. 10th, 2005 09:34 amThere is a lovely big dense grey cloud with lots of stuff falling out of it, to the southwest at the momment, and I want it to move north a little because I think it's SNOWING!!! Least wise, it is very opaque, obscuring the hills, but doesn't show up on the radar as much at all. We might just be lucky and catch the edge but it is clear blue skies on the other side of the building.
Come on, snow here, you know you want to. Tuggeranong doesn't need it...
Sigh, nope, can see the blue sky behind it now. Oh well. Better luck next time.
And in other breaking news, the crimson rosella with the odd bend wing feather was back on the window sill earlier this morning. I fed him porridge.
Brain cells, concentration span, what are those?
Edit: But...
We're at 770m above sea level here...:)
Edit2: And another useless piece of trivia is that Don Brash is listed in the Wikipedia as an ANU alumni member - apparently he started but didn't finish a PhD here a number of years ago. Helen Clark appears to also have started a PhD but not finished one. And is publically agnostic (again, according to Wikipedia, so possible grain of salt)
Kiwi politicians can occasionally be a suprisingly educated lot. Wonder what other contries this is true of?
