3 weeks...

basal_surge - Yay!!!
They want him in the field for the next 3 weeks... So he will be back (pause for calculation) round Nov 1. Not so yay but still copable.
Contact is lible to be brief and intermitant on an approximately weekly basis whenever he gets into town to resupply.
He may run out of books though at least he has plenty of iron ore to play with.
So why do the pay phone conversations always cut out mid sentence - appart from the fact you are trying to squeeze the last ounce of contact time out...

Date: 2006-10-12 03:02 am (UTC)I have the skype but not really any phone to contact him on.
Main problem I suspect is that he is only going to be in a town with pay phone maybe once a week. And if he had to use the pay phone to contact me, I suspect that Tom Price had no cell phone coverage. 98% of Aussie population with cell phone coverage leaves a lot of Australia uncovered...
Still working out whether we go with a cell phone for me or just get a land line at the new place. Suspect the mobile would be far cheaper as no line rental.
