Logbook

There was supposed to be singing... but people were lurgied or couldn't make it, so basal_surge and alpha_angel and I sat in front of the fire and watched QI. Must track down more.

And I finished my 14th/15th C woman's hood. Red maroon wool hand sewn with red silk thread, double layer of wool and toasty warm (I have been wearing since I finished it). It possibly isn't quite as fitted as I would have liked (I do get impatient with fitting things on occasion), but I think it works. Lirapipe is as long as my hair is - which given the longest bits of hair are about a hand span below the base of buttocks, isn't bad. Still contemplating whether I want to stitch down around the edges to make them sit a bit flatter and crisp things up (want to check out evidence for such sewing/reinforcing first though).

But it is wearable now :)

May post photos later when lighting is better and/or I decide re edge stitching.

Next project....
What to do?

(apart from finish the tassels on the pouch and do the drawstring and work on that chemise and the leg bindings and other half finished projects around the place)

But for now, it is about time to curl up with a hot water bottle and sleeeeeep.
