The hazards of a good book

stellar_muddleDamn it... Tea is only just working and it's the wrong time of the month for coffee...
Approximately midnight, after pinning ruffles to the strains of a race relations documentary, 2 B5 episodes and a doco on Ottoman empire harem politics, headed off to bed after Z assured me "Just to the end of the chapter". I'll admit I read for half an hour and then came out and repoked. "Just to the end of the chapter." I went and fell asleep. At 5:30am, woke and noticed something missing... Wandered out in case he had fallen asleep in the lounge or been attacked by tent ropes... Nope, just halfway through the next book... Silly Z... He didn't finish the chapter this time.
At least I got more sleep than he did, but it's just not quite enough... And he had managed 2 days without coffee. Though apparently they are very good books, available free online, with the first ending somewhat in a cliffhanger.
