Yep, them plants is hav'n sex again... Rampantly, flagrantly and vigorously. The record rainfall leading to a bumper crop of the buggers isn't exactly helping the situation....

This made round 1 Festival site prep this weekend "entertaining". I had forgotten I occasionally come out in red spots when handling pollen laden grass. At least the spots were gone by yesterday and on Sat the garden area was cleared/beaten down and covered in straw mulch. And a suprizing percentage of the roses, rosemary and lavender(?) made it. Also oiled the bridge, sneezed a great deal and turned into a small snot producing machine and that was after the second dose of drugs...
Sun, even less people there, and since still hadn't gotten clearance on the chuffer and shower base (and there was a large tent where we needed to put the base), shifted rocks and mud caked/re plastered the existing chuffer. Splat splat splat...:) Got about 2 loads mixed and on, but were low on good soil for mudding - one of the uses for the soil to be dug out from the shower base but... At least the pollen was a little less obtrusive, but given had managed to find a 50% higher dosage Telfast (yay 180mg dose which lasts longer than 4 hours) and had Polaramine as a backup (guaranteed drowsy, but not sneezy...), I was ready for anything...
Spending more time at present napping/sleeping - was asleep by 9:30pm last night. Not certain if that is an effect of the constant antihistamine taking...

And in more cheerful news, stone fruit season is upon us. $4 per kg plums, cheaper peaches and nectarines just starting to arrive. And the cherries... mmmmm cherries. $5 per kg at several Trash and Treasure market stalls and down to $4 per kg at the markets... I can see minor binges each weekend for the near future...

Out of porrige error... but at least I have some cherries....

Edit: And I need a new brain....
Grabbed the milk, poured it in the milo, looked ok, then noticed the date - 17 Jul. Hmmm, looked inside, smelled ok but there were lumps so tipped it out into the sink... then realised it was just frozen milk, not mouldy/off milk. Doh... Not happy people who wanted milk after me. Opps...
Hmph, can currently manage sneezy or sleepy, but not anything else. This doesn't bode well.
