Weekend(s) recap

Sun had a Day O Fun at our place since Collegium didn't quite make break even numbers so got called off. This meant much of Sat was spent tidying - a good incentive to shift a few things. Nice weather for it too. Many people over on Sun (much less nice weather) and plenty of stuff. Got back to some weaving. Mon was spent cleaning up, lazing around and more untangling, then eventually weaving.
Usual type week apart from discovering that when there has been many weeks of rain, that the downstairs garage leaks - or at least the water table rises such that water comes in through the floor seams. Luckily nothing particularly damaged, but definitely need to keep an eye on things.
Friday evenings Battlestar Galactica game didn't have Admiral President Starbuck (unlike last time), but neither did the humans win.
Sat sunshine occasionally (apart from the downpour while in town). Much shopping: Nothing from UH recycling place, rosemary, mint, coriander, fly-strips and damp-rid from Mitre 10. Checked out lemon trees but will keep an eye out elsewhere. Next stop Savemart and much shirts for Z and wool tops for me. Then Sallies and knives, knitting needles and a duvet cover. Lunch. Warehouse and socks (just - apparently small footed women don't want fluffy thick warm socks or they sell out fast). Farmers and hand towels but not socks. Groceries. Home and roast mutton for dinner (round 2 tonight). Yay to candle light and hot baths. Much sitting in front of fire reading.
Today: Rain. Sun!!! Rain. Rain. Some weaving. Sewing linen undertunic while watching Battlestar Galactica. Will continue after dinner and news. Slightly less than successful neckline. Bugger. Oh well. Bit large, but don't think I will fall completely out of it.
