A big thank you...
May. 8th, 2010 09:18 pmto R&S&A, S, R, P&H for the help in moving everything out of storage. Two trips only :) Yay!!!!
Kitchen is mostly set up (apart from the fact we can't find the toaster or kettle :( - in a box somewhere, but not in any we have seen yet... ).
Lounge has book cases in reasonable places and some of the books have escaped onto them.
Bed is assembled and once sheets etc are appropriately set up, collapse and sleep will be possible.
But down the hill with a load first.
Then go thud. It feels a lot later than quarter past nine in the evening.
House! :)
Grrr people not being as careful as they should coming down winding roads. Luckily no one injured but still didn't need that.

Date: 2010-05-09 12:17 am (UTC)At May Crown yesterday, there were an inordinate number of people who have either bought a house, are looking, are settling and one who's even knocking down their existing house and building a new shiny one on top. It's proving to be useful that we're all doing this at the same time coz we can share info on convenyancers etc. One couple are moving not 5 minutes from our new place! They'll have 3 phase power and a 3 car garage, 3 bee hives and an olive tree. We have loads of space, tables for workshops and 2 walnut trees.
Glad you moved in ok despite the windy road.
