The other black...

stellar_muddleWellington, the land of corporate black. The uniform in town tends to consist of 100 shades/textures of black, spiced with occasional grey, white and pinstripes.
Somewhat of a shock to be walking through the central railway station, in a sea of a different black: hoards loitering before heading up to the Cake-tin for the ACDC concert. Black tshirts of various types, many many ACDC logoss and blue jeans galore. Everywhere you looked. As the train passed the stadium concourse, you could see the seething mass growing as it waited to surge in, livened by the occasional cluster of high vis* vested police officers. Love to know what it would have looked like, looking out over the gather area from on high.
Thought I had escaped by train, but on walking between the station and home I passed a smaller group of uniformed fans...
* Discussion at work lead to the wondering if Wellington pedestrians should wear high vis black...
