Farmers:
Good: Were willing to take in and repair the microwave bought from them (a different branch) about a year ago.
Bad: Lost it and took 2 1/2 months to get around to working this fact out after we repeatedly asked them about it.
Good: Gave us a new microwave.
Good: Had the same vacuum cleaner as [livejournal.com profile] alpha_angel for half price (down to $250). The bagless one with actual suck.
Bad: Sold it to us without the screws which held the top on. Upright vacuum cleaners don't work so well without the handle.
Solution (not Farmers): Z checks the equivalent screws on K's one and finds equivalent ones in his tin of random screws.

Other aspects to the weekend:
Sat: Much garden tidying. I clipped and snipped the larger scale stuff, Z pureed grass. Garden looks much tidier now, though still need to get the back raised planer areas in order for rental handover. Just as well we put the majority of the strawberries in one of the ex-glass planer boxes. Evening was spent blobbing and watching Jonathon Creek and being distracted for about 2 hours watching Dan Savage" on YouTube. Definitely not safe for work topics of discussion (can we say explicit), but very funny and very well done.

Sun: See above comments about Farmers. Put home computer screen at a comfortable height (big difference). Groceries, apples on to dry and currently blobbing and watching the rain sheet across the valley, and contemplating how to cook the pork chops for dinner.

I love Dan Savage. I listen to his podcasts at work when I'm having a bad day. works a treat at making me smile, plus I feel a bit naughty ;)
