Probably more relevant to the females out there (or possibly in self defense to some of the males...)
Calcium diet reduces PMS

Right, so leave hasn't been processed yet by HR for WA and KWDS, but it has been signed by the appropriate people and should be in the pipeline. So of 80.45 hrs built up, 42 hrs have been allocated/used. Need 4 days (28 hrs) for KWW. At current build up rates should just have enough (about 5 days) for Christmas. I'd worry about Easter/Festival, except my contract runs out in February. Not certain what happens with the 80+ hrs of long service leave and 54 hrs of personal leave.

So, what do I do next?
Apart from check AAS job register. They did have a post-doc in Iceland listed, but it wasn't for stars...

PS, the madrigals are Dowland: Come again Sweet Love, and What if I ever Speed
PPS Z is back from WA:)

The calcium thing is interesting.
My endocrinologist has me on calcium pills for that very reason.

Seems to work too.

From http://www.vitacost.com/science/hn/Concern/PMS.htm, very well down the page, they comment on Calcium.
A large double-blind trial found that women who took 1,200 mg per day of calcium for three menstrual cycles had a 48% reduction in PMS symptoms, compared to a 30% reduction in the placebo group.17
Reference 17 being:
17. Thys-Jacobs S, Starkey P, Bernstein D, et al. Calcium carbonate and the premenstrual syndrome: Effects on premenstrual and menstrual symptoms. Am J Obstet Gynecol 1998;179:444–52.
The entire lineup is quite impressive, but does (annoyingly) confirm that what may work for one person, may not for another.

From Reference 17 onwards shouldn't be included in the blockquote. Oops and quiet kick to self.
