Found mobile phone. It was in the work jacket pocket from Thurs... Ooops.

Murphy's law: one pair of new combat boots are too tight, the other new pair are too loose and the old pair are the ones which are just right... and about to fall apart, not to mention rather muddy from the weekend. Time to bite the bullet and break the others in... They really weren't up to work standards, so went in with the tight ones. Definitely will be calluses in new places.

Reckon you can make new inserts for the loose ones without me about? there's lots of leather and foam rubber about - I think I've got at least one old rubber mat downstairs for the purpose of armour padding and shoe inserts.
