The Bechdel test (part way down the page)

A character says that she only watches a movie if it satisfies the following requirements:

1. It has to have at least two women in it,
2. Who talk to each other,
3. About something besides a man.

Trying to think what I have seen or read recently that would pass this. I think the Pamela Belle novels I have been recently binging on passes, but I am not certain much of what I have seen recently has...

And on a random note to remember for the rest of winter: they turn the heating off over the weekend at work and it takes ages to heat up on Monday morning, especially when it has been howling southerly... Bring an extra jersey.

I've known about the Bechdel Test for years. Warning -- the results can be pretty depressing at times.

Oh, and The Dark Knight? So totally does not pass the Bechdel Test. But somehow I don't think that counts as a spoiler.
