We have home internet again (or at least internet in the new place:).
And I was restrained and machined up the bits on the woolen skirt (1895 walking skirt) before doing the electronic playing. I did sort of figure that having been avoiding LJ at work, I might spend a while catching up...
Next steps:
Hand finish the waist band.
Sew on hooks and eyes.
Find a longer network cable so the laptop sit on the table and still reach the router.
Stand on a box wearing a) the petticoat and then b) the skirt and get them pinned up for hemming.
Unpack stuff....
For those in the neighbourhood and able to help, pizza and drinks to anyone willing to turn up and shift stuff from ~6pm onwards on Sat 1 March. It involved helping move heavy chests and some stairs. Email me for the address. Drinkies afterwards. You will have to be happy sprawling on chests and floor though as the current chair count is 2. If we get lucky tomorrow, there will be a beanbag.
