This match to anyone you know? So want to replace "squirrels off the feeder" with "roosters out of the pine tree".

Have I complained about the 4am rooster yet?* Z hasn't reached for weaponry yet, but it is only a matter of time.

*Rooster in tree about 5m from bedroom window. Random 4am and 5am and 6am and any time it bloody well feels like it crowing. It sets off (and is set off by) the ones up the hill, but they aren't 5m from the bedroom window. Barbwire, slingshot, crossbow or chainsaw I think.

Unfortunately we are definitely at the rural end of the scale here*, so I suspect inner-city bylaws wrt farm animals don't quite apply.
Pity as it would have been nice to have a council fix... :)

* RD1, roof water supply, septic tank. Nice bush though and a good collection of tuis.
