So, don't you love the way the car can pass a warrant of fitness in the morning and still manage to break down in the evening (bloody altinator ?sp?). Yay for mobile phones and AA membership. Just as well we had decided to pumpkin round 11pm, so things weren't too late. The nice tow person dropped us (and the car) off at the repair place where the car was booked in for a service on the 4th anyway - fingers crossed they don't mind a day early. Luckily M&D weren't asleep yet, and we were close for pickup.

Relatively busy day otherwise, with WOF, groceries and just missing the local Santa parade (escaped just in time), helping with tabards and general socializing.

Today was going to be Z shoe shopping, but that may go on hold for a little while...
