Very nice looking wooden clock replica, which I called Z over to look at, and then noticed the chest... It appears his blog has more on forging (including forging up clock pieces) and some cool looking stuff. You need to go back a while for a lot of the info, but it is worth it (including some of the originals he is basing his replica on). Florida based and appears to have been laurelled for Blacksmithing a year or so ago. Edit: Mastermyr Chest replica posts are from early 2005 onwards and includes some really nice photos of the lock mechanism and manufacture.
Weekend has been busy with the Knightly instruction weekend and fortnightly A&S stuff. Dropping by the second half today to bring some oilskin by. Z is either ensconced in the garage putting chests together or in the kitchen with a book...
Tall story Bingo... :)
