Random assortment

stellar_muddleSo, parents headed back to NZ today. All quiet here.
Had planned to get stuff done, but sort of fell asleep round 2pm and woke around 4pm. Not a productive day.
Lots of info on phone job interview techniques on interwub... The joys of separating sensible from non-applicable and just plain weird. Interview tomorrow.
We have lots of odd leftover foods in the fridge. Finished the dessert wine already - nice but wasn't much. Then there are the cheeses and strawberries and crackers.
Introduced Mum and Dad to Dr Who (latest season and unfortunately the last episode they saw was a cliffhanger...), Torchwood, Top Gear (think they definitely liked that), xkcd and Savage Chickens.
The local supermarket is no longer stocking the really nice dark hot chocolate, but have found a new distraction. A while ago picked up instant ginger tea sachets which was sort of like liquid Ginger Bears (a little too sweet and strong straight). But half a pack was really nice with lemon honey and have recently discovered that 1 packet, a spoon full of cocoa powder, hot water and milk makes a really nice gingery hot chocolate. Think liquid chocolate coated ginger...
