Oct. 1st, 2010 11:34 amDay 3 of a three day conference in Canberra. Some good people, some good talks. I was happy to get mine out of the way on the first day, so have been fairly relaxed for the rest of the time.
Yesterday had good parrots - yay rosellas, but none so far today. Nice weather, though given the cold, glad I brought the wool layers and big green jacket.
3 hour time difference (hmph to daylight savings for this) has meant generally crashing by 10:30pm but being wide awake around 6:30am.
But at least the hotel has a very nice view out over lake towards mountains. View of previous place of employment hidden by hotel though.
Not much to report really. Some embroidery done while waiting for planes, but none during the talks.
Time to womble off to the conference.
