Soggy start to the weekend. Was pissing down when we went into Tawa to go and talk to bank. Then wombled round the Tawa Spring Market (in the rain) and caught up with various people. Many sausage sizzle stands (all $1 each) but the best one was the one outside the butcher where the sausages had real meat in them. Stopped at the library and have commenced a LKH binge.
Home, no rental places to look at :(, AU tax returns, then off to dinner with K&B, R&S+A, R&S+a. Much talking til very late. Much gossiping.
Warm and sunny today, but still no rental places to look at and no sale ones either. Still working out what to do with the day (appart from laundry), now a headache has eased off slightly (can't be a hangover unless 3/4 of an inch of port in a shot glass will do that). Oh well.
Options:
1. Undertunic neckline and rest of sewing. May be tempted to dust off sewing machine for that, but given earlier tensioning issues, may be more trouble than it is worth. Once it is does, I can actually start on the mid to late 15th C outer layers I have bookmarked left right and centre.
2. Cont embroidery. Coif is over half blackworked. But it is a good evening TV project, so maybe later.
2a. A progress photo wouldn't be a bad idea.
3.Join Z in beanbag in patch of sunlight with good book.
I think 3 (til the sun moves off the beanbag), 2a, maybe 1 may be a good sequence.
