Other people have a thing for grammar and writing. Fingers twitch and start reaching for the keyboard or the pencil when they see that missing comma, or encroaching methodology. Someone is wrong on their internet and they MUST FIX.

Me, it is graphs.

Lack of proper axis labeling, unreadable scales, colour lines that blur into one or are indistinguishable when you inevitably print them in grey scale, plotting lines on two different scales without properly labeling or distinguishing. Occasionally I have the urge to point people in the direction of this. And we wont mention extraneous digits which really don't need to be there. Some may benefit from a lesson in the fine art of producing a proper graph as opposed to sucking out exactly exactly what "certain spreadsheets" produce as their basic graph. Not to mention the 3d effect for no reason graphs which distort the data you may be trying to present.

Campaign for properly labeled, clear and concise graphs, dammit.

It is an obscure area to niggle over, but not a bad one.

As long as it doesn't turn into this, it should be safe...
