(no subject)

Yay, this time the tent repairs are happening well before the event (ie not in the prior 24 hours or the initial 24 hours). Fingers crossed I am not speaking too soon.

I hemmed the patch and Z sewed it onto the hole left in the white bit of the Viking A-frame when the ridge tie ripped out at March Camp (was stitched onto a weak part initially). Z will attach a new rope tomorrow evening, probably while everyone else sings around him.

There were intentions to be productive prior to Crown this week, but tonight has just involved packing clothes - the warm, woolly and waterproof ones*, a bit of weaving and general blobbing.

Time to curl up in bed with a book and have an early night I think.

*Given the 5 day forecast and the southerly turning up round Fri, spare clean dry socks will be essential.
