Mar. 24th, 2009 11:41 pmAfter singing practice (which was fun and is sounding cool :)*) I remembered some of the various medieval albums I have on CD round the place and have decanted a bunch onto the computer.
Must see if it is possible to track down music and lyrics to some of the ones from the "In Vinea Mea" album (which Mum picked up in Italy) which has a large collection of songs about wine. Some are religious, other most definitely not. The one "In Taverna" from Carmina Burana (the original) listing all the people who should drink and the good reasons for drinking is quite fun and should be taught to College members all over. Not certain where they are getting the music from though. Several other songs are most definitely in praise of good food and drink.
Leg binding weaving is at 36 1/2 inches.
* Stella Splendens, Come again (all getting there) and Weep O Mine eyes (just started).
