Contactablility
Sep. 28th, 2007 03:21 pmZ and I now have new NZ mobile phone numbers - email if you want to know them*.
*I am evil and figure that if you don't know either Z or my email address (not the one on the LJ profile page for me), then you probably don't need to know phone numbers... Though I might be persuaded otherwise here with good reasoning.
Todays walk up the hill involved a shortcut. It was shorter distance wise, but I am not certain time wise. Z was happy to be off the road though as it was not designed with pedestrians in mind.
It is curious to note that the sim cards they almost give away in Aussie ($2 max) are $35 here (Hmph) and that since only one of the two telecommunications companies actually use sim cards, there isn't exactly much choice. Will keep an eye on usage and see how things go.
It in entertaining to wander into the study and see old DSIR notepaper still in use.
Somewhat unsuprisingly, Dad is off looking at a landslide near Mount Aspiring at present. There was much fun had in checking the original area out with Google Earth the previous night - working out locations and angles from photos in the newspaper...
