Correction: It takes ~1 hour 20 mins to do one of the knotwork squares. Want a very fine sharp needle to split the threads for a smoother finish. 7 squares to go.

Both sleeves are now attached in the moleskin doublet. Ironed down and are continuing on flatfelling seams and edges. Would put it on and preen in front of the mirror (come one, you know you do too :) ), but there are a lot of pins in there. Still debating over lining and need to find the hooks and eyes.

As may be noted by the posting time, sleeping schedule a little out of whack. Must try and be less nocturnal...

Looks like tomorrow... All quiet here :(

Doublet has had all the seams flat felled and hems done, and just needs cuffs done and fastenings down the front... and probably a dart across the neck in the back panel because my standard hunch doesn't go well with the back piece - wrinkles and crumpling ... Paused to think about that.

Evil Fri nights with nothing on TV. Resorting to P&P series instead - well, listened to the Mr Collins visit episode in the background and will settle in with the rest. Goes well with blackwork.

I've said this before and I will probably say this again, early returns are a bonus but the later of two dates is less fun...

Edit: 12:30am and 5 squares and the last P&P episode to go. Will be good and save them for tomorrow.
