Look what arrived in the mail. A Transact phone bill. Mutter mutter time to ring again.
[after 5 min call, most of which was the on hold waiting bit]
Nice of them to wipe the fee, but it would have been nicer if they weren't fucking around in the first place. For some odd reason they appear to employ reasonable human beings at the phone service end but this has no connection to their shopfront or on-paper persona where [insert noises of rending, tearing and loud swearing here].
Fingers crossed (one month after I phoned, asked what the amount owed on the (closed for the last 2 months) phone account was, and paid it), things are now sorted.
And in case you are wondering, no, I do not recommend Transact for your telecommunication needs.

Playing with patterns

So, in the interests of procrastination and a completely different project, dug out the Simplicity Patterns (9769) for Victorian (US Civil War era) underwear. ( Cause not all of you are interested in the wafflings about starting Victorian Underwear )

Finished the drawers.
Had forgotten how much faster things go when sewing machine is co-operating.
Still prefer handsewing.
Back gapes a little much but rest seems fine.
Chemise tomorrow I think.
30 degrees outside still. Yay for airconditioning.
Will go to bed now and stop prancing around in my underwear.
