Very cool planet:)
Jan. 26th, 2006 11:17 amAs from comments I left in the first post related to this (here), it is interesting to see the biases of the media put on to emphasis the local content.
The actual author list is found here. If you (or your Uni) have a subscription, you can probably read the full Nature article, but since it is Australia Day and I am at home (YAY!!!), I don't have access. Went to a good talk on the subject yesterday afternoon though - presented by author number 13:)
So far, the press appear to be picking out the PLANET collaboration members closest to them (continent wise). The Nature popular summary article mentions more of the authors, but only mentions the lead author (Jean-Philippe Beaulieu - French) at the end... which given he is the one with whom correspondence on the subject is supposed to go to... He may be hiding from the media (sensible option) or only talking to the french.
However thats enough surfing, time to have breakfast and start sewing... It must be in the air or something, tough I am starting my binge ahead of big camping event a little earlier than the others I have been hearing about. Mind you, Festival is only 2 weeks away...
And Z wants the computer...:)
