I guess I have been spoiled by their previous service, but it is rather annoying for the NZ Herald online to now be charging for access to their opinion pieces (including cartoons) and archival articles. I can understand the theory of the user-pays access, but don't like it - yes I am a cheapskate and no I don't wish to pay $3,00 per day or $99 a year just to read the cartoons....
Time to change cartoonists.
Hello to Tom Scott and Garrick Tremain etc. Still don't like the Stuff news format though.
Warm stuffy room yesterday lead to 3 hour long nap - not a good idea today, therefore resorted to a teaspoon of coffee in the milo. Works but I would prefer not to have to resort to it once a day.
This weekend is looking to be busy: Bookfair, tent doors, birthday picnic, film club, shift rocks and fix tent at Beorgwic. Not to mention the things to be fixed/finished/chores: bed, tunic, tent, tent rock base, laundry, clean floors, 2 sets of bellows... See if you can guess the labour divisions there...:)
Of the past 8 days walked in on, kangoroos have been observed 7 times:). Today at the top of the saddle:
J: No kangaroos:(
Z: No kangaroos so far.
[Kangaroo jumps out of nowhere into middle of track and off into the bush up the side]
