~12 rosellas sulkily whittering away on a balcony and ledge, 10+ kangaroos between just before the boom gate and the Director's residence shell.
It must be overcast and wet in Canberra.
Given the prediction of rain starting last night, I predicted the rain would start around 5:30pm ie maximum distance from work and home on the walk back. And what do you know, it started drizzling at the top of the saddle and was steadily raining by the time of walking through Aranda. It was fun:)
And by opening the bedroom window last night, you could fall asleep listening to the rain outside. Not quite on a par with rain on a tin roof, but still pretty good to snuggle up and drift off to.
