You know the wondrous incidents recorded when people suddenly know that something has happened to a friend or loved one and discover that they died in a car crash or other such thing at that same moment. The more mundane occurrences are when you think of phoning someone and they happen to phone you at that very instant. All coincidences, reinforced by our forgetting all the times that didn't happen. For the record, I got paranoid about a big earthquake hitting Wellington (as you do when you hang around with geologists a lot and since it is guaranteed to happen someday) on the way to work. I checked the NZ Herald and gosh, don't you know it, no earthquake. For further confirmation, Geonet seismograph drums. No wiggles. So, chalk up a data point for the other side.

Weekend should be busy:
Feast of Chastity, with party at our place after, followed by a short trip to WA, starting on Sun. I head back home on thurs, but Z gets to hit rocks in the desert for a bit longer.
So what can I get up to while Z (and for a while, Aimee) is out of town?
I plan a B5 binge, sewing and tacos, nachos and messy foods...:)
Do seem to be doing well at spending Queen's Birthday weekends apart - last year I was in Germany/Texas at the time. We get WA/NZ Queen's birthday together this time, but not ACT/NSW Queen's Birthday.
And on that note, for those who are going, have fun at Lindisfarne. Remember, pillage THEN burn:)
[Edit: I want to know why the LJ spellchecker thinks that Lindisfarne should be replaced with Windsurfing...]
