Yay thunderstorm...
Feb. 1st, 2005 02:19 pmNice thunderstorm has dropped the temperature by nearly 5 degrees in the past half hour... 34 degrees is a little on the toasty side, especially when you have the nasty suspicion that you have the flu (or at least the fever, headache and slight sore neck component thereof). Thought had beaten it into submission with sleeping through most of Sun evening, and feeling fine most of Mon, but it appears to be back again with a vengeance today... Might be better to stop a little tomorrow... Though have the disadvantage of a flat inspection tomorrow. hmmph.
At least I now have some prettily stacked spectra - regimented rainbows. Except they are in the infrared, so I can't exactly comment on the colours. At least not formally until the photometry has been reduced. I sometimes so wish that involved taking a large hammer to it, but unfortunately, it will just involve swearing at computers.
Band of thunderstorms and smell of rain. Doesn't combine well with the gardening required for tomorrow or the laundry that is out on the line. But I like it:)
